Natalie M. Packer is the Managing Partner for the Fresno office with Borton Petrini, LLP. Natalie graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources and Organizational Development and received her Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law. She became a member of the California Bar Association in 2013.

During law school, Natalie gained valuable experience working several months as an extern for the Honorable Rebecca Wiseman, Retired, at the Fifth District Court of Appeal.

While in law school, Natalie was also a Best Brief Finalist in the 2006 George A. Hopper Moot Court Competition. Natalie has worked in the legal field in multiple capacities since 1989.

As a Fresno lawyer, Natalie practices family law, probate, and estate planning. She has assisted clients in general family law dissolution matters, custody and visitation matters, and restraining orders. Natalie also has experience in probate litigation, estate planning, guardianship, and conservatorships.

Natalie is a member of the Family Law and the Estate Planning and Probate sections of the Fresno County Bar Association. Natalie was the 2018-2019 Chairperson for the Family Law Section of the Fresno County Bar Association. Natalie is very active as an alumni at San Joaquin College of Law and has served as a past board member.  Natalie is a current Board of Trustee member for the law school, currently a professor teaching family law, and on the 2013 Diversity Committee.

Natalie is active in the local community and in the past volunteered with Central California Legal Services where she handled and represented petitioners in pro bono domestic violence restraining order hearings.

 

Natalie is a court appointed attorney for termination of parental rights cases and as minor’s counsel.

Natalie began her legal career working as a paralegal at a large law firm whose primary practice areas were estate planning and probate litigation. After passing the bar, Natalie spent a number of years practicing “in house” at a large agricultural corporation and was an assistant attorney in one of the longest administrative hearings in California history.

Natalie is a single mother to three young adults and has one grandchild. In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her large extended family.
