Map Extension Bill Gives Relief to Builders for 2 More Years

For those of you that build new homes, recent legislation has been passed that may affect your tract maps. The governor just signed AB 1303 on October 10, 2015, automatically extending the life of tentative maps another 24 months. This will save you from paying additional filing fees and permit you to extend the life of existing maps until October of 2017.

Eleven counties qualified for the extension.
