Calvin Stead is a Partner in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP. He has an undergraduate degree in zoology with a minor in organic chemistry and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from the University of Texas. He has more than 12 years of experience in air pollution chemistry, nuclear power plant chemistry and clinical toxicology. In 1986, Cal received his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Cal has 34 years of legal expertise include trucking law, Native American law, real estate law, contracts, environmental litigation, land use planning, water law, construction defect litigation, employment law, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour litigation, bankruptcy, general casualty defense, and creditors rights.
After a successful career as a jury trial lawyer Cal now limits his practice to bankruptcy, transactional matters, and non-jury litigation.
