Shannon Wallen

Shannon Wallen was born in Merced, California and grew up in Crescent City, California.

Shannon began her legal career as a legal assistant at a local civil firm specializing in business, labor and employment law in 2008. During her four-plus years with that firm, Shannon worked her way through college at night, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In 2012 Shannon went on to apply to San Joaquin College of Law, where she was admitted and enrolled the same year.

During her time at San Joaquin College of Law, Shannon was active in several clubs and organizations including the Student Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, and Fresno’s local Relay For Life charity organization. Outside of the classroom, she actively pursued internships and clerkships in law offices specializing in civil and family law and continued to expand her legal knowledge and experience with fervor. In her last year of law school, she served as the Student Bar Association’s President, was a participant on the law school’s Board, extended her law fraternity’s philanthropic reach to include large donations to the American Cancer Society, and was awarded the Clovis Soroptimist Club’s Women’s Advocate Award for her volunteer work and involvement in organizations supporting women in our community.

Upon becoming a lawyer Shannon was immediately employed as a civil litigator and worked on cases involving labor claims, personal injury, construction defect, insurance defense, subrogation, immigration and human rights, family law, and corporate formation matters.
