Alexandra Aghishian, Esq., is an Associate Attorney with Borton
Petrini, LLP, in Bakersfield, CA, representing clients in insurance
defense, family law, and various other practice areas.
Alexandra earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the
Pacific – McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, in May
2021 and was licensed to practice law by December 2021. Before
joining Borton Petrini, Alexandra spent her law school years working
in the Immigration Law Clinic and Prisoner Civil Rights Mediation
Clinic. Upon licensure, she independently represented clients in need
of domestic violence restraining orders, child custody, divorce, and
property divisions. She is known for providing practical guidance on
an array of legal practice areas, employing responsive, honest
communication, and effective advocacy tailored to each client’s
individual goals.
Alexandra grew up in the Armenian community of Los Angeles. She
was the only student from her high school graduating class of 2013
to travel outside California for a university education, attending the
University of Denver, in Colorado. There, she was one of the few
selected to study abroad in the United Kingdom at Queen Mary
University of London, England, for an entire year in 2015. She
graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities degree in
Sociology and Criminology from the University of Denver in 2017.
Outside the office, Alexandra takes pride in volunteer work. She has
given back to the Armenian community through a lifetime of
volunteering with the Armenian General Benevolent Union and
Armenia Fund, Inc. She also maintains a passion for animal rescue,
rights, and welfare, reflecting a commitment to service both inside
and outside the courtroom. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys
spending time with her family and caring for the animals in her small
animal sanctuary.
