W. Scott McIntosh is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Borton Petrini, LLP. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2011 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2014.
While in law school, Scott was a summer law clerk for the Honorable Daniel J. Buckley, now Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. Through the Environmental Law Clinic at Oregon, Scott was able to work with an Environmental NGO and drafted challenges to an Environmental Impact Report related to public motor vehicle use in the Kaibab National Forest in Arizona.
Prior to joining Borton Petrini, LLP, Scott worked for an insurance defense firm in Pasadena, specializing in Public Entity defense.
Scott is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California. His primary emphasis at Borton Petrini, LLP is civil ligation, including insurance defense, employment law, personal injury, premises liability, and product defect.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys playing golf and tennis, travelling domestically and abroad, and supporting Notre Dame football, the Dodgers, and Chelsea Football Club.
