Renée Linton is of counsel to the law firm of Borton Petrini, LLP. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and Juris degree from the California Western College of Law. Her primary practice area covers all aspects of probate, trust and estates, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives; elder law; probate and trust administration; and conservatorships and guardianships. She is also an experienced employment law litigation attorney.
Her passion is helping families plan for the future and protecting the vulnerable populations of children, the elderly, and families suffering loss after death. From start to finish, Renée guides her clients and their families through the processes of defining final wishes and seeing them through difficult life challenges with compassion, competence and ease.
Renée is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and currently serves as a Member at Large for the Probate, Trust and Estate division. She is also a member of the California Bar Association and serves as a committee member for their Educating Seniors Project. She is a member of the Probate Attorneys of San Diego, a Certified Mediator through the Center for Dispute Resolution, and served as a Delegate for the 2016 Conference of California Bar Association.
In her spare time, Renée loves spending time with her family, practices Pilates routinely, and snow skis whenever she is able. She is the proud mother of her son, Leif, and has two sweet Siberian Husky dogs, Odin and Saphira.
