Christine J. Levin is senior counsel at the Fresno office of Borton Petrini, LLP. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fresno in speech communication summa cum laude in 1993. In 1997, she obtained her J.D. from Santa Clara School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year.

Ms. Levin began her career as a Deputy Attorney General, in Criminal Appeals, Writs, and Trials Division.  Ms. Levin also has a vast range of experience in handling civil and criminal appeals and writs arising from various areas of the law including family law, partnership law, competitive bidding, land use, wrongful termination, professional conduct, and shareholder derivative actions.  She has argued cases in the various Courts of Appeal including the California Supreme Court.

Ms. Levin also has a broad range of litigation experience in areas including family law, agricultural law, business law, insurance defense, premise liability, employment law including wrongful termination, sexual harassment and retaliation, personal injury including wrongful death, collections, dissolutions of partnerships and corporations.

Ms. Levin stays on the cutting-edge of her profession through memberships in several legal and professional organizations. Among these are the State Bar of California, Fresno County Bar Association, Fresno County Women’s Lawyers, and California Women Lawyers.

Ms. Levin served on the Board of Directors for the Fresno County Women’s Lawyers for six years, served on the board of the California State Bar, Appellate Committee, and served on the California Women’s Lawyers board.

Ms. Levin does her part to serve and promote her community.  She has volunteered in assisting women obtaining domestic violence restraining orders.   She has been active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Polka Dot Powerhouse, an international group that seeks to improve the lives of women and children worldwide.

Ms. Levin is married to Mark and has two amazing children, Quinten and Owen.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, boating, and wine tasting.
