Jamie K. Xiong-Vang is an associate attorney in the Fresno office of Borton Petrini, LLP. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2003, with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics. She attended Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2006.
While in law school, she externed as a judicial extern with retired Judge Whitney Rimel of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of California, Fresno. In addition, she also externed with Central California Legal Services where she provided legal assistance to victims of domestic violence.
Upon graduating from law school, Jamie received an Equal Justice Works Fellowship to provide family law legal assistance to victims of domestic violence through a medical-legal partnership. She then went on to work for the Fresno County Public Defender’s Office as a Deputy Defense Attorney where she provided indigent criminal defense to those coming through the criminal justice system.
Prior to joining Borton Petrini, LLP, Jamie had her own law practice assisting clients with civil litigation, immigration, family law, criminal, social security, and bankruptcy matters.
Jamie is married to Voua Vang and they have 4 children together. She is an avid reader and spends her free time with her family, traveling with her husband, or with her head buried in a book.
