Eric S. Carin is an associate attorney in the Sacramento Office of Borton Petrini LLP. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1989 and his Bachelor of Law Degree in 1993. He received both degrees from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines. He was admitted to practice law in California in 2013, where he practices in family law, focusing on domestic violence, child custody and visitation, and divorce cases in the Sacramento area.
Eric was a private law practitioner for over ten years in the Philippines doing civil, criminal and labor litigation that included appellate litigation work. During this practice, he handled cases that were subjected to intense public and media attention. Eric hails from a family of attorneys and he intently pursued his legal career following in the footsteps of his father. Throughout college, Eric was actively involved in the student government and received awards and commendations for his leadership.
Eric is a member of the Asian Bar Association of Sacramento (ABAS) and the Sacramento County Bar Association, Family Law Section. He is also admitted to practice law before the United States District Court of the Eastern District of California.
