Sophia P. KimAttorneySan Bernardino Office Sophia P. Kim is an Associate in the San Bernardino office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Sophia received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 2002. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a concentration in tax law. Sophia practices in the areas of estate and tax planning; employment and labor law; probate litigation; and business, corporate, and partnership planning and litigation. During law school, she gained experience as a law clerk at an estate planning and corporate law firm in Sacramento. In the summer after her first year, she studied Fundamental Human Rights under Justice Anthony M. Kennedy in Salzburg, Austria. Sophia is a member of the American Bar Association, San Bernardino County Bar Association, and the Orange County Korean American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. In her free time, Sophia enjoys playing the piano at her local church and cooking Korean dishes. |
