Robert J. Gundert is the Managing Partner for Borton Petrini, LLP’s San Francisco office. Over the past twenty-five years, Mr. Gundert has successfully handled hundreds of litigation matters, tried a number of cases to verdict and handled various appeals. Two of those appeals resulted in published decisions.

Mr. Gundert spent the early years of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Clara University School of Law. After joining the Firm in 1988, Mr. Gundert worked in both the Bakersfield and San Luis Obispo offices before relocating to the Bay Area. He has published articles and spoken at various seminars on behalf of the Firm.

In his spare time he can often be found spending time with family and friends, rooting for his beloved San Franciso Giants, 49ers and/or Cal Golden Bears.
