Bradley Sullivan is the Managing Attorney of the Sacramento office of Borton Petrini, LLP. He is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Brad received his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University. Brad decided to stay on the Mission Campus to pursue legal studies. He earned his Juris doctorate in 1983.

Brad has over 30 years of experience as a Sacramento lawyer handling cases dealing with agricultural and food safety law, public entity law, land use and environmental, insurance defense matters, including, but not limited to, product liability, transportation, premises liability, automobile and trucking law, and medical malpractice law.

Brad was lead defense counsel on the 2006 Dole Baby Spinach 26-state E. coli outbreak and has defended West Coast growers in most foodborne outbreak illness cases over the past decade.

Other notable cases as a Sacramento lawyer were gaining entitlement approval for the largest photovoltaic solar farm at that time in world, including defending the approval at The California Supreme Court, defending a municipality at trial level and United States Court of Appeals for Ninth Circuit on Clean Water Act challenge, and 250 party Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, (Superfund) plaintiffs’ case as well as state and federal administrative remediation proceedings.

Brad has been City Attorney for Sutter Creek, Greenfield, and Hollister. In addition, he has represented various public entities throughout Central California during his legal career, defending cases through trial in both state and federal courts.

Other public entities that Brad has represented include the County of San Benito, Amador Regional Sewer Association, Union Public Utility District, River Pines Public Utility District, and Mark Twain Hospital District.

Brad has an interest in youth academics and sports. He has recently coached high school football at Hollister High School, and previously coached soccer at Select and High School levels.

He has served on the Amador County Unified School District Board of Directors and taught Agriculture Law at Hartnell College, in Salinas, California.
